I want to find the best size and pitch to use for general boating, pulling tubes, but also fishing. I use the boat usually between 5000 to 6000ft elevation.
it has a flat bottom, very light, i think a trolling motor would do fine, i dont know if i need to register it, i dont have a tittle or registration for it
12′ fishing row boat with 3hp Evinrude motor floats & runs great, used almost daily, I have the original receipt $245.00 new on 06/20/1953. Motor is approximate same age. Is the manufacturer still doing Business, I just want to contact them, boat could be for sale , if price were right. Thanks everybody, serious information responses only, thanks.
I’m looking to purchase a used 14ft aluminum fishing boat…
The boat and trailer were first purchased in 1977.
The evinrude motor and mercury electric trolling motor were first purchased in 1979.
I’m purchasing from the original owner… everything has been garage kept.
All that being said… Should I be concerned with the age of the boat? motor? trolling motor? trailer?
What would you consider a fair offer for such a boat?
Hi, I am looking for a small 12ft to 14ft fishing boat (prefer Aluminum) thats some what cheap almost like a row boat with a 5hp outboard on it. I have checked craigs list and a bunch of dealers but there all like $1200 plus even if i get the boat without a motor any suggestions of a good place to get one, or a good boat in general. (companies..)

im not looking to spend a lot of money on it just something simple that will sit 2 people comfortably….im going to buy a troll motor or small motor later on.
it is a 14 foot v-hull aluminum and has a 4.5 ft beam. what size outbourd could i put on it to possibly go tubing and such without spliting the hull or damaging my boat?
the boat is used and about 10 years old. only thing on it besides the registration stickers is on the back it says fishmaster. havent seen a boat like this at bass pro shops but on the enternet cant find it either
My old cajun bass boat it in pretty bad shape but the motor (a 90 HP Johnson) runs like a top. At least it did when I last cranked it two years ago. I used to own a lot on a private 800 acre lake but sold it. Now, I want to explore the local public waters but my 16 foot boat doesn’t take waves very well. There is a 33,000 acre lake near my house that gets quite rough in those unexpected summer storms. Anyway, is there any advantage to selling my old boat but not the motor then finding a pontoon boat with no motor and putting mine on it?
