used fishing boat

The boat is about 16ft fiberglass. The hull looks to be in good shape. Nothing else is in working condition. I am going to purchase a used 1984 115hp Johnson Outboard. I don’t know what else to get or where to take it to get these things installed. I just want to fish.

fishing boat for sale

(SORRY FOR THE REPOST)

I want to buy a weekender boat for family use around sydney.

Its a first boat, dont want it for fishing and ski etc. Looking to keep it on trailer.

I’ve looked at bayliner, quintrex and sea ray.

Want to buy new and around $35k.

At the moment I prefer a cuddy (somewhere to shelter kids if need be) but it seems that bowriders are better priced and appointed by comparison.

I have had different sales people tell me many different opinions as to fiberglass or aluminum weight and strength etc.

Welcome comments ( I sound green I know)

aluminum fishing boat

I’m looking to put a removeable partial deck on my 12′ aluminum fishing boat. I want it to go from the very front of the boat to the back of the middle seat, with 2×4s on the bottom to keep it from shifting. The problem is I need wood that’s not going to rot or get weaker when it gets wet and I dont really have the budget to go fiberglass. Any ideas on what wood to go with?
The 2×4s attached to the bottom of the deck with fit down in front of and behind the front and middle bench seats. I only have a 4.5 horse motor so the possibility of it flying out of the boat doesn’t exist. I’m just looking to make a removeable deck for part of the boat so when my girlfriend goes out fishing with me she has somewhere to lay down for tanning. It doesn’t have to be worthy of my standing on it.
